At first he's just strumming muted and wah-ing

I'm not sure, but it might sound better if you do this strumming with an E chord.

The second verse is not hard. Get real soft after the solo, then

build up again when SRV goes "If I don't meet you no more..."

Start a second solo with a kind of hypnotic intro before going

insane with an E minor pentatonic pentatonic.
